Sipwise started from a simple frustration: standing at a bar, staring at a menu full of unfamiliar names, and having no real way to guess what any of them actually taste like. We built Sipwise to fix that.
What we do
Answer a few quick questions about your taste — sweet, sour, bitter, or strong — and our taste quiz matches you with cocktails you're likely to enjoy in under 30 seconds. Beyond the quiz, Sipwise is a searchable directory of cocktails and ingredients, each with a plain-English flavor description, a real recipe, and its origin story.
How matching works
Every cocktail in our library is tagged by flavor profile, base spirit, and glassware. Your quiz answers are compared against those tags to surface drinks that fit your taste, not just whatever's popular. You can also save favorites to "My Bar" and compare any two cocktails side by side.
Who it's for
Sipwise is for anyone of legal drinking age who wants to order with more confidence, whether you're new to cocktails or just want to discover something outside your usual order. We don't sell or deliver alcohol — Sipwise is purely a taste-matching and reference tool.
