Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz vanilla vodka
  • 1 oz passion fruit liqueur (Passoa)
  • 0.5 oz fresh lime juice
  • 0.5 oz passion fruit purée
  • Half a fresh passion fruit, to garnish
  • 1 shot prosecco, served on the side

Instructions

  1. 1Add vodka, passion fruit liqueur, lime juice, and passion fruit purée to a shaker with ice.
  2. 2Shake vigorously until well chilled.
  3. 3Double strain into a chilled martini glass and float half a passion fruit on top.
  4. 4Serve the shot of prosecco on the side — sip it between sips of the cocktail.

Bartender Douglas Ankrah created it at London's Townhouse bar, reportedly naming it after a customer who said it was 'so good it should be pornographic.' It became one of the UK's most-ordered cocktails in the 2010s and spread globally, always served with that distinctive side shot of prosecco.
