Origin & Story

United States, modern era

Sangria's genius is the fruit-soaked liquid, not the wine itself — and fresh apple cider turns out to be an even better base, absorbing the spices and fruit flavors beautifully. This mocktail is a fixture at Thanksgiving and autumn gatherings where it holds its own next to the wine pitcher.
