Origin & Story

France and South America, traditional herb

Lemon verbena — known as verveine in France and cedrón across South America — has a lemony fragrance that's more floral and herbal than actual lemon, with notes of lemon candy and fresh-cut grass. French tisane shops have sold it dried for centuries; this mocktail puts it to work as a syrup base for a spritz that smells as good as it tastes.
