Ingredients

  • 2 oz tequila (blanco)

Mexico, mid-20th century

Its exact inventor is unknown, but the Paloma is believed to have emerged in Mexico as a simple tequila-and-grapefruit-soda highball; today it's arguably more popular in Mexico than the Margarita.
