Ingredients
- 2 oz pisco
- 1 oz fresh lime juice
- 0.75 oz simple syrup
- 1 egg white
- 3 dashes Angostura bitters
Instructions
- 1Dry shake pisco, lime juice, simple syrup, and egg white without ice to emulsify.
- 2Add ice and shake again until well chilled.
- 3Strain into a chilled coupe and dot bitters on the foam.
Origin & Story
Lima, Peru, 1920s
American bartender Victor Vaughen Morris created it at his Lima bar in the 1920s, and it's since become the national drink of both Peru and Chile.
