- 1.5 oz Angostura bitters
- 0.75 oz orgeat syrup
- 0.75 oz fresh lemon juice
- 0.5 oz rye whiskey
Instructions
- 1Add all ingredients to a shaker with ice.
- 2Shake until well chilled.
- 3Double strain into a chilled coupe.

Created by bartender Giuseppe Gonzalez, it broke convention by using an unusually large amount of Angostura bitters as the base spirit rather than a garnish, surprising the cocktail world with its balance.
