Ingredients

  • 2 oz dark rum
  • 4 oz pineapple juice
  • 1 oz fresh orange juice
  • 1 oz cream of coconut
  • Fresh grated nutmeg, to garnish

Instructions

  1. 1Shake all ingredients with ice until well combined.
  2. 2Strain into a rocks glass over crushed ice.
  3. 3Garnish generously with fresh grated nutmeg.

Created at the Soggy Dollar Bar on Jost Van Dyke — so named because patrons swam ashore, dollar bills in hand, since there was no dock — this rum, pineapple, orange, and coconut blend became a Caribbean staple.
