A tequila spin on the Negroni, swapping gin for tequila alongside Campari and both vermouths.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz tequila
  • 0.75 oz Campari
  • 0.5 oz sweet vermouth
  • 0.5 oz dry vermouth
  • Orange peel, to garnish

Instructions

  1. 1Add all ingredients to a mixing glass with ice.
  2. 2Stir until well chilled.
  3. 3Strain into a rocks glass over ice and garnish with an orange peel.

Essentially a tequila-based Negroni, the Rosita first appeared in print in the 1970s as bartenders began experimenting with substituting tequila into classic Italian bittersweet formulas.
