Origin & Story

Singapore, early 1900s

Bartender Ngiam Tong Boon is credited with creating it at the Raffles Hotel's Long Bar around 1915, blending gin, cherry liqueur, and juices into a fruity drink meant to look demure enough for women to order in that era.
